Working with Docket Information
The Docket List screen provides access to data provided by an operator to support economic authority decisions (such as for Notice of Action Aircraft). The Summary screen’s display-only Docket Display List reflects the data entered and deleted using the Docket List on the Update Economic Authority screen. Both screens contain rows of docket list items and, for each row, data placed in grid columns including Docket Number, Issue Date, Title/Description, Docket Link, and File Name. The Docket List on the Update Economic Authority screen provides access to Add, Edit, and Remove docket item commands. Refer to procedure “Using the Summary Tab and Dockets List Display” for details.
Using the Docket List
To Use the Docket List (for U.S. Commuter Air and Foreign Operators):

Open the Update Economic Authority window and Docket List by clicking the Update Economic Authority button (from either the Operator Summary or Economic Authority screens).
The screen displays the Update Economic Authority window with the Docket List. The Docket List grid’s leftmost columns include the Select Row check box (also used for multi-row selection) and the Action column. The grid displays docket item data within columns including the Docket Number, Issue Date, Title/Description, Docket Link, and File Name.
The Docket List rows include special controls that are displayed in the two leftmost columns:
Select Row check boxes and Select All Rows check box: This grid allows you to select multiple rows (for use with the Remove function). The Docket List displays Select Row check boxes in the first/leftmost grid column (and, in this first column’s heading, the unlabeled Select All Rows check box that allows you to select all rows). Once you select a grid row, Row Selection check box is displayed as checked (and the row is highlighted).
View link: For each listed docket item, the row’s Action column cell will display a View link, allowing you to view a PDF of the docket item.

Review the Docket List as needed.

You can click the links displayed in a row’s Docket Link or File Name to download and then open the identified target file.
Once clicked, the link downloads the PDF file and opens the file in a new browser tab.

To add, edit, or remove docket list items, use the fields and controls displayed on the Update Economic Authority window. Refer to procedures “Adding a Docket List Item”, “Updating a Docket List Item”, and “Removing a Docket List Item” for details.
Adding a Docket List Item
To Add a Docket List Item:

Open the Update Economic Authority window and Docket List by clicking the Update Economic Authority button (from either the Operator Summary or Economic Authority screens).
The screen displays the Update Economic Authority window.

Click the Add Docket Information button to expand the area below the button. You can close the area by clicking the Add Docket Information button a second time.
The screen expands to display the Add Docket Information field group which includes the following fields:
Docket Number (required): Enter the official docket number for the item.
Issue Date (required): Enter a date value using MM/DD/YYYY format or by selecting a date using the Calendar control.
Title/Description: Enter descriptive text identifying the docket item.
Docket Link field (and Test link): Enter the web address (URL) for the docket item. The Test link allows you to test internet browser navigation for the link.
File field and Choose file button: The File field is located below the on-screen prompt “Please upload PDF copy of the document.” (Note: Some PDFs received from industry sources may have non-standard formatting and may produce errors when uploaded to eAIM. Refer to the additional procedure “PDFs Requiring Special Processing”).

Use the fields and controls to enter docket information.

Click the Add button to save the changes (OR, click Cancel to abort the process).
The system adds the docket information to the Docket List.
Updating a Docket List Item
To Update a Docket List Item:

Open the Update Economic Authority window and Docket List by clicking the Update Economic Authority button (from either the Operator Summary or Economic Authority screens).
The screen displays the Update Economic Authority window.

Use the Docket List to locate the row for the Docket List item that you want to work with.

Click the Edit link for the row (located in the row’s Action column).
The system displays the Update Docket Info dialog box.

Use the Update Docket Info dialog box to edit the docket information. The Update Docket Info dialog box includes the following fields:
Docket Number (required): Enter the official docket number for the item.
Issue Date (required): Enter a date value using MM/DD/YYYY format or by selecting a date using the Calendar control.
Title/Description: Enter descriptive text identifying the docket item.
Docket Link field (and Test link): Enter the web address (URL) for the docket item. The Test link allows you to test internet browser navigation for the link.
File field and Choose file button: The File field is located below the on-screen prompt “Please upload PDF copy of the document.”

To Upload a PDF of the Docket Item’s document:

Click the Choose File button.

The system displays the browser’s Open dialog box.

Use the Open dialog box to locate and select the PDF.

Click the dialog box’s Open button.
The system closes the Open dialog box and displays the file name in the unlabeled Filename field group (located to the right of the Choose File button). (Note: Some PDFs received from industry sources may have non-standard formatting and may produce errors when uploaded to eAIM. Refer to the additional procedure “PDFs Requiring Special Processing”).
You can remove a file that has been uploaded (before selecting Save Draft) by repeating the Choose File process described in the steps above.

Click the Update button to save the changes (OR, click Cancel to abort the process).
The system updates the docket information in the item’s Docket List row.
Removing a Docket List Item

Open the Update Economic Authority window and Docket List by clicking the Update Economic Authority button (from either the Operator Summary or Economic Authority screens).
The screen displays the Update Economic Authority window.

Use the Docket List to locate the row for the Docket List item that you want to remove.

Using Multi-selection: If you want to remove more than one list item, click each row’s Row Selection check box.

Click the Remove button, located above the Docket List.
The system displays the Remove Docket Info dialog box.

Click the Delete button to remove the item (OR, click Cancel to abort the process).
The system removes the docket information from the Docket List.
